...and a happy New Year's!

We had a fun New Year's in the Angliss home this year! A few of our friends came over to celebrate with us. I got the chance to put our fondue pots to use and made two cheese and one chocolate fondue, with all the bread, steak, fruit, and cake, plus the dishes that others brought; we had quite the feast!
We enjoyed great conversations throughout the evening. Matt and I gifted ourselves with Rockband 2 for Christmas, we had lots of fun playing that!
PLUS!! Since they are legal in Germany...FIREWORKS were definitely rather enjoyable! At one point before midnight I was in the kitchen and it got kind of quiet in the house, I went out to the dining room, saw the girls, and asked where all the guys went, after a loud BANG from outside we all knew exactly what our guys were getting into!
It was a late night and we are still trying to catch up on our sleep, but it was well worth it!
Here are some shots from the evening!

Playing Rockband!!

The newly engaged couple! It was fun to celebrate this special night with them!

Excited about the fireworks!

How many can you set off at once?

And they're off!

Is this safe?

Ok, I KNOW this is not safe...

I'm just glad that Matt was behind the camera and not the fireworks!

Glad to see you're doing well, Heather. Congratulations on your wedding. Do you keep in touch with Heather Hobbs? We haven't heard from her in quite awhile.
